Although I love cooking, I also love eating food that I did not cook, so dinning out is always exciting for me. We planned to go to a Cafe, by the time we got ready to leave it was almost closing time, so we had to choose somewhere else. We finally decided on Mi Lupita's Kitchen because they had a very good review on Google and although it was last minute, it was a wonderful experience!

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming when we walked in, it was like visiting family and the air was filled with the aroma of food cooking. We quickly took our seats and was served with Chips and Beans, while the waitress took our drink orders. The Chips and Beans were delicious, the only problem I had was that my daughter was eating it faster than me.

I ordered a cucumber drink and honestly, I thought it was just cucumber water with lime, but I was in for a big surprise. First of all, it was huge and so deliciously refreshing, tasted more like cucumber juice, definitely a winner!!

Before I share my meal, I have a confession to make, I ordered the wrong thing. I wanted the Burrito with the cheese over it (what is that called?) but instead I order the regular Burrito. However, this did not take anything away from the meal I had because it was flavorful and mouthwatering. I ordered the Spicy Marinated Pork Burrito, and I did not regret it. I believe that we eat with our eyes first and the presentation was 10/10!

My Sons got the Grilled Shrimps and Steak Tacos. My oldest son is a picky eater, the only thing I have seen him devour is my homemade Split Peas soup and Pizza. However, he went all in on those Tacos and ate every bit, so I'd say this food is 'picky eater' approved!

I loved that they have a kid's menu because my baby got to enjoy her Chicken Finger and Fries.

My husband is not very adventurous when it comes to eating, he likes to stick to what he knows, so he ordered a Chicken Sandwich. They are even equipped for the 'non-adventurous eater.'

Although we were the first family there, four other families came in while we were dining as this seems like a pretty popular spot. The food was fresh, savory and I will definitely be visiting again, I saw this soup that I must try. It was also very affordable; our entire meal was less than $100. On our way out, my husband got a complimentary cup of coffee. Mi Lupita's Kitchen was a pleasure, you should certainly visit and let me know what you think!
