Ground Beef and Chicken Tacos

Tocos will always be one of my favorites! I love the variety of toppings and meats that can be used for this dish. I did not feel like cooking too much today, so Taco was a winner since I know the kids always enjoy it.


HOW DO YOU MAKE CHICKEN AND BEEF TACOS

To make this dish you will need:

  • 6 skinless boneless chicken thighs

  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • 4 tbsp. soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp Cajuan season (more or less according to your preference)

  • salt

  • black pepper

  • 4 tbsp. olive oil

  • Taco shells

  • Taco seasoning

  • Pico de Gallo (check out my recipe https://cocogreenz15.wixsite.com/website/post/pico-de-gallo )

  • cheese, sour cream, lettuce, beans (your favorite taco toppings)


My choice of meats today was chicken and ground beef. I chose chicken thighs for this recipe because I prefer the texture, but you can also use chicken breast. I marinated the chicken and ground beef with Cajuan seasoning, soy sauce and of course my green seasoning for about 45 minutes.






I picked up a Taco Seasoning from the supermarket. You can choose your favorite brand.



  1. In a medium skillet heat two tablespoon olive oil. Add ground beef, season with salt black pepper and taco seasoning. Cook for about 10 minutes.

  2. Season chicken with salt, black pepper, soy sauce and Cajuan seasoning. Heat remaining olive oil and cook chicken until tender, about 20 minutes.

  3. Warm taco shells and enjoy with your favorite toppings.
