I LOVE shrimps and enjoy a good takeout or dine in. But I have learned to put my own spin on it which leave my kids coming back for more. It's always satisfying when my kids ask me to make them a favorite dish. I love to customize my dishes, and this is just one that I have mastered and enjoy.
HOW DO YOU MAKE SWEET CHILI SHRIMPS
To make this dish you will need:
Shrimps
Cajuan seasoning
Black pepper
Soy sauce
Salt
Oil (used grapeseed oil)
Bell Pepper
Sweet Chili Sauce (used the World Harbor brand)
I usually buy the shrimps from the local farmer's market and get it peeled, deveined with the tail on.
Season Shrimps with Cajuan seasoning, black pepper, soy sauce and salt. Let marinade for about an hour.
Heat oil, cook shrimps for about 2 minutes on each side, then remove from heat.
Wash and chop Bell Peppers.
I like slicing mine thin, but you can choose to chop it however you like. Sauté Bell Peppers in oil for about 5 minutes or until it's your desired tenderness. I love mine with a bit of crunch.
Once the Bell Peppers have reached your desired tenderness, add shrimps back and stir. Coat with Sweet Chili sauce and let simmer for 2 - 3 minutes, then remove from heat and serve!
Serve with your favorite sides. I had mine with cauliflower mash and a salad.
